At The SKRATCH Spa, our mission is to create immersive sensory experiences that calm the nervous system, quiet the mind, and provide a level of relaxation many guests say they’ve never experienced before. Because SKRATCH is unlike traditional spa concepts, we understand that curiosity often comes first — especially with a name that sparks conversation. The questions below were gathered directly from real guests and designed to help you better understand the experience before your visit. We hope these answers offer clarity, excitement, and reassurance as you prepare to step into something truly different.

  • Your website references different SKRATCH experiences like Healing Harmony, while the booking site lists services like the SKRÁcial. Are these the same?

    To simplify it a bit, SKRATCH is an acronym representing seven different scratch intensities and sensory experiences using various tools and techniques. For example, Restorative Release offers deeper scratching sensations, while Kindred Kindness provides a more medium-intensity experience. Soothing Sensations and Healing Harmony are among our lighter-touch experiences. All seven include full-body attention, including the scalp.


    Our SKRÁcial and SKALP SKRATCH experiences were created more recently in response to guest feedback and demand. These experiences are separate from our original seven SKRATCH ceremonies and may be booked individually or combined for a more customized sensory journey.

  • What makes the SKALP SKRATCH different from what’s already included?

    The SKALP SKRATCH was created after overwhelming guest requests for a scalp-focused experience. It is a deeply immersive treatment designed to quiet the mind and stimulate sensory pathways many guests never realized existed.


    While the primary focus is the scalp, the experience also includes the face, neck, décolleté, shoulders, and arms for complete relaxation.


  • What is the SKRÁcial?

    Like the SKALP SKRATCH, the SKRÁcial was inspired directly by guest feedback, especially from guests who loved the soothing sensation of our cool facial tools.


    The SKRÁcial combines a professional facial performed by licensed estheticians with our signature SKRATCH sensory techniques to create a deeply relaxing, multi-sensory experience. The treatment includes cleansing, exfoliation, masks, facial massage techniques, moisturizer and attention to the neck, décolleté, shoulders, and arms.


    The result? Radiant skin and a completely relaxed mind.


  • Do you offer couples or duo services beyond Trance 4 Two?

    Absolutely. Couples may request nearly any combination of services and durations, not just the Trance 4 Two experience. 


    Guests may enjoy services together in our couple’s suite or choose separate rooms for a more individualized experience.

  • How long are the SKRATCH experiences?

    Our experiences range from 30 minutes (The Whisper) to 2 hours (The Catharsis).


    Our 90-minute and 2-hour experiences are among the most popular because they allow for extended scalp-focused relaxation without needing to book a separate SKALP SKRATCH.


  • What are your prices? They aren’t listed on the website.

    As a newer spa concept, we currently prefer to highlight the experience itself rather than focus heavily on pricing.


    That said, experiences generally range from $85 to $255, depending on duration and service selection. Many guests tell us they are pleasantly surprised by the value of the experience.


  • How can I expect to feel afterward?

    The best place to explore this is through our Google reviews, where guests frequently describe the experience in their own words.


    Many guests say they’ve never experienced relaxation quite like SKRATCH before. We’ve also received feedback from clients struggling with stress, insomnia, and anxiety who reported feeling calmer, more rested, and mentally reset afterward.


    Some repeat guests have even shared that they stopped booking traditional massages after discovering SKRATCH.
